Gouverneur Garden Club
Making Our Community Bloom Since 1946
There are many ways a Garden Club member can volunteer their time and skills.
Spring brings the annual plant sale and the awarding of the FFA jackets.
In Summer, Garden Club volunteers cultivate flowers and plants in the many community gardens and planters around Gouverneur. The club's gardeners even maintain window boxes at the Gouverneur Museum.

Preparing exhibits and working at the Gouverneur & St. Lawrence County Fair keeps the membership busy. Fall brings the Pumpkin Festival.
Throughout the year, our Garden Club volunteers keep our mission alive in the community. Contact us to join!
June 14, 2023 - Flag Day Parade & Events
The Garden Club welcomed many visitors at the Gouverneur Chamber's 2023 Flag Day visitors to the park today. The posters with photos of some of our activities were a big hit! Browse around our website for more information about our mission and organization. Join us! We had fun...!
Riverside Cemetery Sign Restoration
In keeping with the Garden Club's mission to "make the community bloom," The Riverside Cemetery committee, Connie Stowell, Bonnie Porter, Kathy Rust, and Ruth McClure, organized by Lea Dickson, gave the Riverside Cemetery sign some much-needed attention.

There are Garden Club committees all over town, planting and bringing color and life to the many locations in the Village.
